Youth and Student Accounts
Community Credit Union offers several youth accounts to help children start on an excellent path for financial responsibility. As they grow, we continue to offer options to meet their changing financial needs. We are here every step of the way! Children are able to see how exciting saving money can be and teens can open a debit/checking account to learn how to manage their finances before heading out of the house as adults. All of these accounts require a joint owner who is a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian of the minor. View our rates.
We'll help you get started! When you open a youth savings account with just $1, we'll deposit $10. No strings attached. But, this offer can be withdrawn at any time, so don't delay.

Getting started:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
In order to make the application process as easy as possible, please have the following information available for yourself and any joint applicants:
- U.S. Social Security number.
- A valid form of identification including: Driver's license, State ID, Military ID, Resident Alien Card or US Passport.
- Previous home address (if you have lived at your current home address less than two years).
- Credit or debit card or U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account(s).
